Lead Therapist Model
We can offer a Lead Therapist model when it fits your family's needs. This isn't usually decided immediately, our team gets to know your needs first.
Your Lead Therapist is an experienced allied health professional who remains actively involved in delivering therapy this is not a coordination-only role. They stay hands on while ensuring your family can access the broader team's expertise when needed.

The Lead Therapist:
-
Works alongside your family to understand priorities and set meaningful goals
-
Delivers therapy directly with your child and family
-
Coordinates input from the wider therapy team
-
Seeks specialist advice from other therapists when needed
-
Ensures therapy stays prioritised and responsive to your child's development
Your Lead Therapist is usually the person most involved with your child at any given time, and understands when to draw on other therapists' expertise so support feels coordinated rather than chaotic. As your child grows and goals shift, this role may transition to another therapist to keep support aligned with current priorities.
Having a Lead Therapist doesn't mean your child only sees one person. Your child will see the therapists they need, when they need them based on their goals. This responsive approach ensures access to the right discipline, or combination of disciplines, at the right time.
