Everyday Environments

Children learn best in the places where they naturally live, play, and interact.

Consistent with early childhood intervention best practice, therapy is delivered in natural environments, which may include:

  • Home

  • Early learning or education settings

  • Community environments

  • Occasionally, clinic settings when appropriate

Clinic sessions are used purposefully, often as a stepping stone to help practise new skills before using them in everyday routines.

We also work collaboratively with educators, carers, and community members who know your child well, helping strengthen inclusion and participation across settings.

Therapy goals guide where support happens, ensuring intervention is functional, meaningful, and relevant to daily life. We also work to build the capacity of the community around your child, so they can participate more fully in the activities and interests that matter to them.

We acknowledge and respect the stories, traditions and living cultures of the Gumbaynggirr people, the traditional owners of the land, and commit to building a brighter future together.
